Last week the world wondered what Matthew Broderick was up to in a short ten-second teaser clip on YouTube where he appeared to be playing Ferris Bueller, the character from his famous flick "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

Some speculated it was for a sequel. But, as we correctly and exclusively told you before it racked up over four million views this weekend — it's nothing more than a Honda ad. As you'll see after you watch the video — this is one of those times we wish we were wrong.

While Honda initially denied it, the full ad above shows we were correct. As we told you on Friday, our source told us the spot would mimic much of the original film, except this time prominently featuring Hondas. And rather than a Ferrari, as you can see, this time it's the Honda CR-V.

Honda poured a lot of money into this ad — including hiring The Hangover writer/director Todd Phillips to put it all together.

Although we're not real keen on the idea of this, there were some nice homages to the original. My favorite? The Detroit Red Wings jersey on the roller coaster.
