Watch The 2014 Camaro Z/28 Lap The 'Ring Faster Than A 911 Carrera S

Silly muscle car! What are you doing on the Nürburgring? Oh wait, you're the 2014 Camaro Z/28, the track-optimized one with more horsepower and torque than a Corvette Stingray. You might be good.

This is the Camaro — the Camaro, ladies and gentlemen — that somehow managed to lap the 'Ring in 7 minutes and 37 seconds, which puts it ahead of both the 911, the 911 Carrera S, and the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. And it did it in nasty weather, too.

Chevy just released the video of the entire run, so you can watch as this 505 horsepower, naturally aspirated beast of a machine devours the 'Ring in a snarling, nasty fashion.
