Hey there, Kinjasphere! We’re a week away from heading down to beautiful Barbados for the penultimate round of the 2015 Red Bull GRC season, but while you (and we) wait for that, let’s catch you up with some highlights from our most recent race in Los Angeles:
Nelson Piquet Jr. made his Indy Lights debut in Toronto on pole, but a horrifying crash with another driver dashed his hopes for a win. The good news is that he and the driver he collided with, RC Enerson, were both uninjured. That’s kind of a miracle when you see what happened to Enerson’s car.
The Global Rallycross finale came down to the wire during the very last round, with Joni Wiman, Ken Block and Nelson Piquet, Jr., all in contention for the top spot. Ford Racing takes us behind the scenes for the final GRC round at Las Vegas.
Heading into the semifinals at the Red Bull Global Rallycross season finale in Las Vegas at The LINQ, Ken Block is within 10 points of his first series title.
