Congrats to resident racer Robb Holland who, along with Uli Baumert, took the Rotek Racing Audi TT RS racer (you've read about it here) to a class win at this weekend's VLN race. Holland set a class-best lap of 9:26.52 around the 'Ring.

The new genre of "lower-case halo cars" — specifically the Porsche Cayman R, BMW 1M and Audi TT RS — are pricey, but they've got their priorities in the right place, with nimble handling, supercar acceleration and manual transmission only. The question is, which one would you buy?

The new 2012 Audi TT RS has loads to brag about: Ludicrous power, astounding grip and a luxurious interior that smells of nutmeg. It's even manual only (in the U.S.). But does the TT RS live up to Audi's turbocharged, inline-five legend? And can you even get one? We found out.

Among the day-old brats of the Chicago auto show was the U.S.-bound version of the Audi TT-RS, which is set to unleash its 4.6-second 0-60 mph times on American roads in a few months. To celebrate, Audi had a bunch of Facebook pals over for pizza and took photos. Just don't wipe your hands on the schteel.

Thanks to Facebook, Audi says it will bring the 360-hp TT RS Coupe to the United States within the next year. No prices set yet, and only the hardtop aluminum und shteel version makes the trip. [via Audi]

It's official, the 2010 Audi TT RS has a turbocharged direct-injection inline-five cylinder which makes 335 HP and 331 lb-ft of torque. It does 0-to-62 MPH in 4.7 seconds and returns 25 MPG. Swoon.
