Drivers in this morning's Bullrun Rally crash were racing according to a police report from the Florida Highway Patrol, which also identifies 30-year-old Greg Roselli as the driver of the Audi R8 that wrecked.

According to the report, a group of approximately 15 cars involved in the last day of the Bullrun Rally were driving along the Florida Turnpike (SR 91) at such a high rate of speed that troopers were called to the scene.

Troopers were responding to the calls when the Audi R8 being driven by Roselli lost the right, rear tire of his vehicle causing him to lose control, strike a barrier, and then hit the rear of a Honda being driven by a woman who was not participating in the rally. Debris from the accident hit other vehicles, possibly including one of rapper/actor Ice-T's entries, although there are conflicting reports.

Mr. Roselli was arrested at the scene and charged with reckless driving and racing on a public highway. According to what appears to be his Facebook page, he has a method for dealing with such sorrowful moments:

"When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True Story."

Here's a big opportunity to be awesome, then.
