What's The Best State To Drive Across?

Yesterday, we unleashed negativity on the worst states to drive across. It's time for Ohioans to come to defense of their homeland. What's the best state to drive across?

With 50 to chose from, plus a few territories, we select the great state of Montana. Though you can no longer drive at a "reasonable and prudent" speed, the limit is still a high 75 MPH and the highway patrolmen are still sparse. But it's not just about the speed. There's also the scenery. Steinbeck, in Travels With Charley, had this to say:

"I'm in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection. But with Montana it is love. And it's difficult to analyze love when you' re in it... Montana seems to me to be what a small boy would think Texas is like from hearing Texans."

How can you argue with a guy who crossed the country with a Poodle?

What do you find to be the best stretch of state-crossing highway?
