Speedhunters has an excellent profile of Daigo Saito and how he turned a preexisting Liberty Walk widebody Lamborghini Murcielago into a 650 horsepower professional drift car.

You should read the whole article, particularly to find out how odd parts ended up making the whole thing possible. There are steering and suspension pieces from Toyota coupes and sedans, drivetrain components from Nissan, and lots of other interesting custom and aftermarket stuff.

It takes a dedicated soul to challenge yourself with a build like this, that is for sure.
