More Bull: Reiter Engineering's Lamborghini Murcilago R-GT Le Mans Racer for 2007

Will the Bull ever prance like a horse? German's Reiter Engineering thinks it can teach it. The mo-sports tuner is working up a new version of the Lamborghini Murci lago R-GT racer it hopes will raise Lambo's standing in the racing world, particularly the FIA GT Championship series and Le Mans. The company took over the racing program in 2005 (it developed the R-GT with Audi Sport). But while the R-GT finally won its first race earlier this year, when it took a Japanese Super GT contest at Suzuka, it's struggled through two seasons to get it. The new car, the R-GT 2007 Le Mans Edition has a new aerodynamics plan and a V12 producing the requisite 520 hp, which Reiter has been fine-tuning it at the Salzburgring track ahead of a new season. Soon, it'll again take on traditionally superior Corvettes, Aston Martins, Masaratis and Saleen S7s. Will the R-GT finally show its precision, or will its quirkpot reputation lead it to another season off the podium? Don't ask us, ask the Bull.
