I don’t own a truck, nor do I own a set of nuts (truck or otherwise) but a passing glance at a Tesla Cybertruck with “Cybernuts” made me stop and wonder what other horrors lurk on the internet. Perhaps, even, within the hearts of the very citizens of this mom-and-pop automotive outlet. - Erin Marquis Read More

We asked our readers earlier this week what were the most perplexing problems they’ve ever encountered with their cars. The comments were filled with tales of faulty sensors and persistent check engine lights. Some of these cars spent so much take in the shop that I’m surprised drivers weren’t charged rent. Without further ado, here are all the issues that plagued your vehicles: - Ryan Erik King Read More

Being able to appreciate cars from every corner of automotivedom makes for a true enthusiast. This starts out early in life when many of us don’t know any better — and that means we might have grown up falling head over heels for some ridiculous cars. Last week, we asked readers what lame cars they liked when they were kids. These were their very interesting answers. - Lawrence Hodge Read More

In the history of motor racing there have been near-god-level drivers that have risen above the mere mortals. It’s nearly impossible to confirm one of these deific drivers as the true pinnacle above all others, simply because of an inability to test them all at their peak in the same equipment on the same day. Unfortunately we live in a linear timeline, and we can’t break the continuum to hold an IROC-style race of every great driver dead or alive, as cool as that event would be. In lieu of making this race happen, let’s try to make it happen through theory and polite argument. - Bradley Brownell Read More

I envy anyone who has never had a problem with their car. Certain models are less prone to issues; some drivers never have to lift the hood or call a mechanic. My used 2016 Toyota Corolla was basically bulletproof. However, regular maintenance isn’t the only reason why dealership service centers and repair garages exist. Some problems with cars can seemingly never be resolved even after a professional has taken a peek under the hood. - Ryan Erik King Read More

In a lot of ways, we are defined by the vehicles we drive. For better or worse, those sorts of definitions also come with stereotypes about who we are and what we enjoy. The same thing can be said for a large group of people — also known as a community for folks who don’t have friends. That’s what got me thinking about today’s question. - Andy Kalmowitz Read More

Almost all of nature experiences a renewed sense of life once the short days and long nights of wintertime gradually become distant memories. Trees grow their bright green foliage back, flowers bloom, and days mercifully become warmer and longer. Animals come out of hibernation and brumation ready to start fresh, but what about our four-wheeled friends? - Logan Carter Read More

There are too many great racing drivers to count. It’s damn near impossible to say that any single one of them is better than all the rest. Did any specific driver do a better job because they had a better car? Or did they get the better car because they were the best around? It’s a conversation that will never come to a final conclusion. Earlier this week we asked you all to choose your number one racer of history, and you sure delivered. - Bradley Brownell Read More

Despite its shortcomings, motorsport is pretty great, really. For a few hours a weekend you can forget all your responsibilities and watch the fastest cars navigate some perilously tricky tracks in exotic locations on almost every continent. And whether you’re in it for the on-track action or off-track drama of a race, there’s one thing we can all agree on: some race cars are really pretty. - Owen Bellwood Read More
