Today we got to play around with views of the Jaguar F-Type, and everyone was very happy with the stylish new Brit. We also got to look at a different car that took a different approach to luxury styling.
We saw the 2014 Infiniti G37 Sedan and it was, well, squiggly. Or maybe squishy. Either way, it definitely follows the current car design trend of lots of lines, lots of styling.
Some thought it was justified, like dorifto.chips.

If they hadn't bothered with the squiggles, no one would have noticed.
While it doesn't make sense to judge the Infiniti G37 yet (it's a camo'd prototype after all), but do you think younger companies really need overstyling to break into established car markets?
