Our ZJ was a compromise before the JKUs came around. I got the lift mud tires and the solid front axle and it had 4 doors and AC and reasonable comfort for the kid in the car seat. Read more

Here is my camper set up for sleeping in the back of my JKU minus the front window sunshade and I cover the rear hatch glass with one of those ice covers for your windshield. I used window screening and adhesive magnet rolls to make the window screens. and string and magnets to keep teh reflective stuff in the other
