Volvo recently announced their U.S. engine lineup for the first wagon they've sent our way in a while, and it's got a lot of good stuff to choose from.

The base engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four with 240 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque going to the front wheels.

Or you can upgrade to 2.5-liter turbocharged inline five with 250 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque and all-wheel drive. Marginally better than the four, but sweet Because Volvo!

Or if dreams of dusting BMWs dance in your head, you can go full badass and get the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six on the V60 R-Design with 325 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque going to all four wheels. That makes it the fastest and most powerful Volvo wagon in history.
