This Citroen DS Is Hypnotizing The Great State Of Washington

What if you got a 1970 Citroen DS21 Pallas in white with lots of chrome, but you don't like white or chrome? You wrap it and go a bit loco in the process.

Remember the BCZRCCR Porsche 911? The one that's a homage to a Plymouth pickup with a giant wing on its back? Well, the same owner has this great DS:

The car is a 1970 Citroen DS21 Pallas and I chose this car because in the US they are very rare (especially running & driving) and is one of my favorite cars of all time. Between its good looks, excellent ride quality and in my case the tall gearing option, its very quick for an old car.

I bought it last year, and I designed and implemented the wrap (which is fully reversible/removable). The car was originally white with lots of brightwork. I wrapped everything through @Northwest Auto Salon and did a satin pearl white on the roof, matte purple metallic on the lower white and then black to cover all stainless and shiny chrome brightwork. The inspiration was an idea out of my head and the hypno-hubcaps are my newest addition to the car which seems to finally make it feel finished.

I continue to work on the car, but the amount of smiles, waves and thumbs up this car gets on the road is unparalleled. Feel free to crawl my instagram page @mcmrevival for more pictures including the custom leather floor mats I made for the car. I think its come quite a ways.

Wanna see it in action? No problemo:

Is this the coolest Citroen DS in the state of Washington? You tell me! But looking at these shots, I would say it's hard to beat.

Now you know how the audience felt after looking at the Citroen DS at the Paris Auto Show in 1955 for the first time.

Hypnotized.
