These Were, Unsurprisingly, The Best Selling Vehicles Of 2024

2024 was a solid year for car sales all around, but some stood above the rest.

When it comes to vehicle sales, 2024 wasn't too shabby, all things considered. The industry finally returned to some sort of status quo after years of battling following the COVID-19 Pandemic. Of course, prices are still high, but that didn't stop nearly 15.9 million new cars from being bought in 2024.

As it seems with every passing year, there are fewer and fewer conventional "cars" on the list, replaced mostly with compact crossovers. In fact, of the top 25 vehicles, just five are either sedans or hatchbacks. The majority of vehicles on this list, 14 to be exact, were crossovers. The remaining six (and the two top spots) were, you guessed it: pickup trucks.

I won't even waste your time because you already know what the best-selling vehicle in America was in 2024. It's the Ford F-Series. That's right, this truck was the best-selling vehicle in America for the 48th straight year. That's mild boggling. Second place, the Chevy Silverado, isn't even partially close either. There's an over-215,000-vehicle sales delta between the two trucks. Of course, if you include the Silverdo's twin, the GMC Sierra, General Motors wins, but we're not doing that.

Anyway, how about you check out what cars made up the best-selling vehicles of 2024, a year history will hopefully forget.
