No, we don't have pictures of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (though we have seen it before). But what we do have are the specs. How does a 4.0 liter flat-six with 500 horsepower, seven-speed PDK, wider wheels, a wider body, and lightweighting sound to you?
The specs, which we saw thanks to the always excellent Axis Of Oversteer, show what improvements Porsche has made to the GT3 to make it earn the RS badge.
If it's correct, the GT3 RS has a 4.0 liter flat six with 500 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque. That power is routed to the road through a seven-speed PDK trans (no manual is listed...) and is surrounded by a new, slightly wider body with carbon fiber up front and a magnesium roof.
It also has huge wheels, 20s up front, 21s out back. The rear tires are 325 section while the fronts are 265s. That's a lot of rubber.
We'll hopefully be seeing all this fantastic Porsche excellence in the next couple of weeks at the Geneva Motor Show.
