How Baller Is A Top-Down Honda Roadster On A Detroit Freeway During A Blizzard?
Detroit snapped back into winter last night, with over ten inches of snow and temperatures in the teens. None of which stopped one Honda S2000 owner from making a top-down commute.
Caught by a number of Jalopnik tipsters, this sporting fellow — whose ambitions run to a personalized "NURBURG" Michigan plate — made the drive on northbound I-75 through downtown Detroit this morning. Everything about these pictures just raises more questions: why take a lightweight roadster out on such a day at all? It's a living rebuke to every mother who ever told their son to put a hat on before going outside under threat of dying from exposure.
Fortunately, one photo caught by Doug on the MTRCTY blog gives us a strong hint about how a Germanic-friendly Honda owner might enjoy such a cruise, from the sticker on his wind splitter.
Thanks to Doug and Mike!
