Our boy Hof of the down-under persuasion sent us this custom barbie built from a classic Holden Monero GTS. Looks like it's loaded with kangaroo sausage and koala tarts (aww, c'mon) but not a shrimp in sight. Dammit, what good is a cliche if it's not run around the track once in a while.

I must have one. That looks like a great weekend project. I even have the stock steel in the backyard to make a free standing version like the one above.
Although it would not have the surface area for the grill, I think I want to use the front clip of a Cherokee. Jeep TJ would be a bit creepy.
I always thought it was Holden-Monaro.
Yeah, it's Monaro.
People tend to spell Camaro, Camero as well.
You sure that isn't barbecue grille - with an 'e?'
Cool.
In the garage, the rear end with a rack, on which you can store bicycles.
Having grown up in Melbourne in the early 80’s, I had my shares of weekend barbies –Aussie slang for BBQ’s, with family and friends. But even though I’ve probably gone to picnics in every Monaro that you can think of, I never actually remember having a barbie in one…
It should have exhaust pipes that shoot flames from the sides. That way I can roast my marshmallows…
@MeatFarley: Ouch. Put another entry in Spinelli's Book of Annoying Spelling Tics.
That's a fine example of automotive art.
I remember the first time I saw or made a mental note of the front on the side of a building. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, especially since it was that of a classic.
