    Four Wide USAC Turkey Night Grand Prix

    With that heaping plate of turkey and all the fixins' right around the corner, it's time once again to give thanks for open-wheel USAC racing and head on out to Irwindale Speedway for the 66th annual running of the Turkey Night Grand Prix. Witnessing Sprint Cars and Midgets hammer through the corners, four-and-more wide, is that much better in a tryptophan-induced haze. More than 150 cars and racing luminaries are expected to attend and drive. As always, King Taco will be serving up some Al Pastor and Carne Asada if turkey is off the menu. Wear a mustard yellow sports jacket and make like Chris Economaki for added effect.– Mike Bumbeck
