Mitsubishi released more images of its i MIEV Sport concept, the semi-teardrop shaped minicar that show off its prototypical in-wheel electric vehicle platform. For Mitsu, it's the latest in a string of in-wheel EV concepts, each demonstrating the system's application in a specific segment — like compacts, vans. This one's the sporty version. It features the same S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) as found in the company's new Evo X. The system combines Active Center Differential (ACD), Active Yaw Control (AYC), Active Stability Control (ASC), and Sports ABS components, with braking force control. Look for the live reveal next month, at the Tokyo Messe, as photojournos' harpoon-sharp elbows battle over first shots of the Evo X — and this too, maybe.
