Spy Photos: Holy Crap, It's the 2006 Dodge Challenger Concept

A bystander visiting a ranch in California stumbled across this year's most anticipated concept car, the 2006 Dodge Challenger — the two-door answer to last year's Charger question. If you're having "Vanishing Point" flashbacks, it's no surprise, because Dodge mined the iconic 1970 Challenger for visual cues. According to AutoWeek, which published the photos this morning, the concept — which will debut at the Detroit show in January — will get a 6.1-liter Hemi mated to a six-speed manual and (of course!) a pistol-grip shifter. Kind of makes the sketch we got from DCX immediately obsolete.
