    Spy Photos: BMW 1-Series, Now With Fascia

    Slowly, but as sure as the flayed kidneys that adorn its grille, the US-bound BMW 1-Series is heaving into view. First, we saw the rear section as revealed during a photo shoot in California. Now, these latest shots reveal the 1's fascia, which mimics that of its Euro cousin. Still, a more aggressive treatment of the lower ground effect / intake area shares some attitude with the new M3. No word on engines, but the assumption is it'll get the 3.0 Valvetronic six with the same gas-saving tech (stop-start, brake regeneration) as the 1-Series in Europe. Four banger?
