Hey, hey, hatchback! World Car Fans posted some clear shots of what is likely the new Audi S3, set to launch at the end of this year for 2007. The shots indicate a close-to-showroom version engaged in Arctic Circle testing, with the only telltale sign of S-ness being an S3 badge on the steering wheel. WCF reports the S3 will get a juiced version of the A3's 2.0-liter TFSI engine reportedly producing 272hp, as well as all wheel drive.

Yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaa!!!! Could this one be the king of pocket rockets? (although for a steep price)?
I think the R36 is supposed to have 285 BHP, so maybe its the Queen. Or maybe just the king, if your king spends more for less displacment, less power and nicer interior finishes. I'm still stitting here wondering how it is i can drop/justify almost 40k for a DSG A3 with 3.2 VR6? I can't imagine how much this little hussy would go for.
