In journalism, sometimes a good story is all in the packaging. The sum, as they say, is often greater than the parts. AutoWeek, for example covers of two bits of turbo-related gossip that get a boost (heh heh) from their proximity. Auto spy photogs Brenda Priddy and Company caught the coming 2006 Porsche 911 Turbo, all 460hp's worth of which will hit the market next year. At the same time, word on the street has it GM's been testing both supercharged and turbocharged versions of the Pontiac Solstice's 2.0-liter Ecotec four-cylinder, and has selected an intercooled turbo to wring 250hp out of the in-line four for the Solstice GXP.
