We Love It When a Plan Comes Together: The A-Team Intro

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team.

Flipping Jeeps, classic Mike Post theme music, Dwight Schultz in a wedding gown, small-arms fire galore and a Cylon. This may well be one of the best television intros ever conceived. God bless you, Stephen J. Cannell. Go watch it now.

  • It's on 2 channels 1) T.V. Land 2) Sleuth (DirecTV only) Check you guides and keep a look out for Miami Vice.

Best Miami Vice episode: Trust Fund Pirates.

  • The best three hours of television is Monday thru Friday on Sleuth from 2:00-4:00EST; The A-team, Knight Rider, and Simon & Simon. This block alone is well worth unemployment. Now if only they could add Air Wolf somewhere in there, it would be perfect.

  • Anyone notice how all the shows on Sleuth have "Universal Appeal?" (Even the old '60s Dragnets, for their "atmosphere cars") And what, exactly, is Stephen J. Cannell typing at the end of each episode of The A-Team?
