Although not as enamored of the tripod action as the British or the French, the Germans have toyed with the three-wheel ideal now and then (and the Isetta doesn't quite count, as it was an Italian invention). With VW's announcement that they'll be displaying some non-motorycle, non-four-wheeled concept vehicle possibly slated for production at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
