Tura's sidekicks, Haji and Lori Williams, were forced to make do with less menacing British iron in the movie (and drive-in audiences, no doubt distracted by their own in-car activities, had no problem suspending their disbelief about the apparently trouble-free operation of the MG and Triumph sidekickmobiles). – Murilee Martin
