    Barrett-Jackson to Auction "001" Cars

Barrett-Jackson's PR team has gone into overdrive, figuring out ways to package and repackage the lineup of cars to be auctioned at its Scottsdale event for maximum press coverage; and we bite just about every time they say boo. This time, the story is on the seven serial-number one vehicles to be on the block (no reserve), including the first 40th Anniversary Shelby GT350SR, 1969 Baldwin-Motion Camaro (ca-ching!), 2003 Aston Martin AR1 concept roadster (pictured), Foose-edition 1969 Camaro, 2006 Foose Stallion Mustang and a one-off chopper from Covingtons Customs. Seems kind of heavy on the new, custom iron and light on the super-rare 001 collectables, but we'll count the zeros anyway.
