The cleanser with approximately 800,640,321 uses, Simple Green, is apparently a pretty potent weapon on the track. And a banned substance. According to an unnamed Champ Car mucky-muck, they've tested the substance and found that it extended tire life by around four laps. We don't know what their secret application method is, but maybe some of you chemist-types out there could let us know what the possible reaction between the green and the black is.
