Apparently, every so often, those wacky Dutch shut down the Aflsluitdijk (known as the dike that killed the Zuiderzee in '33) and hold speed trials. The previous record was 325 km/h (201mph), set by some bloke in an M5. F1 driver Robert Doornbos only managed to eke out one extra kilometer per hour over the stretch, using a Formula 1 car. We're waiting for our pal Victor Muller of Spyker to get a bug up his ass and shoot for 330. He'll do it, too, we bet. Autoblog.nl's got the video.
