Over at Customer Experience Strategy, Brit blogger Karl doesn't quite get why Ford's offering Mustang engine ringtones. We've never been obsessive ringtone-geeks, either, only having once bought a polyphonic version of "Rock the Casbah" when we first got a phone, but we do understand the appeal of having a revving engine in one's pocket. What we do not understand is why anyone would want a ringtone of the national anthem as performed by revving engines. Well, we do understand it, but we'd rather forget people like that exist.
