Nissan Teana Sedan Spotted in Boston

Longtime Jalopnik reader Phil (you may know him as ThnderbltDoherty) spotted what could be Nissan's upcoming upmarket sedan and Avalon beater, based on its Japan-only Teana, at a Starbucks in downtown Boston. The white-and-silver test mule had been spotted earlier this year during hot-weather testing in the Southwestern US, giving away its market intentions with left-hand drive and a plausable business case interpreted by a writer from The Car Connection. Without further ado, TD:

I just saw the Nissan Teana in downtown Boston outside the steaming kettle Starbucks at Government Center. I'm pretty sure it's the one from the 7/25 post as it was that white/silver color combo, had Michigan manufacturer plates, non-descript wheels, and no badges.

Why it was in Boston, I have no idea, but I'll go out on a limb and say they're seeing how comfortable it is on a long haul, judging by the amount of road filth on it and the two unshaven, bedraggled guys up front.

[Update: Spy photos of the Teana in Los Angeles after the jump. Thanks, Rich.]

Other readers say they've spotted the Teana (and bedraggled engineers) in the areas around Phoenix, San Francisco and Seattle. Man, get these guys home already!
