Man, we're glad our new haircut wasn't met with same kind of response readers offered the new Chrysler Sebring. After eyeballing the leaked image yesterday, some even insisted it was a Photoshopped mashup of the Nissan Altima, Chrysler Crossfire and various Saturns and Chevrolets. Well, despite all the lamentations, it's really real. As The Car Connection reports, the new Sebring — which will be announced officially in a couple of hours — was influenced by the 2003 Airflite concept (see below). It'll be offered with a range of enginery, including the 2.4-liter four-cylinder World Engine with a four-speed automatic, a 2.7-liter V6 and a top-line 3.5-liter V6 with six-speed automatic; a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four will be offered in other markets. We'll see how it looks up close later today. As for our haircut, don't ask.
