So apparently, when authorities arrived on the scene of the destruction of the Good Ship Hoonzo, owner Stefan Erkisson informed them that he was "deputy commissioner of the San Gabriel Valley Transit Authority's police anti-terrorism unit." And then some guys showed up who claimed to be from the DHS, flashed badges, asked to talk to Eriksson, and are now wanted for questioning. The LA Times has all the weirdness.
