    Veyron vs. Ruf

    As RUF is considered a manufacturer in its own right by the German government, taking delivery of bodies-in-white from Porsche and assigning them their own VINs, the 930-based Ruf CTR — with a top speed of 211 mph — was once the fastest production car in the world. So it seems rather natural to put one up against the Bugatti Veyron. And guess how it all ends? Still, we can't say Alois, Jr. is crying in his bier, given that the CTR is a substantially less-expensive automobile than the Bug. And sheeminy is that quad-turbo'd sixteen fast.
