The Connecticut Supreme Court ruled against a New Haven rental firm that had been tracking rentees' driving behavior and imposing fees for speeding. In effect, the ruling made illegal the company's practice of charging $150 for exceeding 79mph for more than two minutes. Playing "taxicab tag" with rental cars, however is still "sort of" legal.
