Sorry for the belabored Morrissey ref in the headline. We were trying to come up with the last Sirius/serious pun that hadn't been beaten to death. Anyway, Mercedes-Benz has announced that Sirius satellite radio will now come standard in a number of 2007 vehicles, including the SL-Class, CL-Class, AMG-tuned models and anything with a "600" in the designation. While this is premium placement for Sirius, we're not quite sure how many subscriptions this will translate into, given the relatively small number of super-premium Mercs sold. Plus, today's a bad day to announce anything related to additional gadgetry in a Mercedes, wethinks.
