Whoops! Looks like we were a bit late with those spy shots of the GXP. The company introduced the grander version of the Grand Prix, sporting a new V8 engine, at the California International Auto Show in Anaheim last night. The stats are also updated. The new 8-beater, a 5.3 liter with 290hp and 325 ft/lbs of torque, is Grand Prix
s first V8 since 1987. The base price strains under the yoke of 30 grand, at reportedly $28,700. No word on a traction control system to keep torque steer at bay on the front-driver. Anyone?
