Porsche took the virtual wraps off the newest in its line of 997-model 911s — the Targa 4 and 4S. Though less a targa in the traditional sense than a 911 with a hole in its head, the models have a substantial glass roof (wear hats, gents) and a folding rear window. They'll also get a wider rear track, though the same 3.6-liter flat-six (3.8-liter in the S) as their more darkly acclimed cohorts. For you? 79,000 euros base, or 87,900 for the 911 Targa 4S.
