The German Car Blog is reporting on Audi's upcoming A5 coupe, which Autocar says will get the company's 4.2-liter V8, producing 420hp, in top spec. That version, of course, will be the RS5 — which we'll likely be teased with until the late '00s — but lesser-grade A5s will get commensurate 2.0-liter fours and 3.2-liter sixes. Based on Audi's Nuvolari concept of 2003, the A5 will also be a full four-seater, not some 2+2 knee-cracker. Sorry, Road & Track, we just called dibs on the RS5 / Porsche Cayman S shootout article.
