Following the success of their thirteen-year-old vintage Merc store in Stuttgart, Mercedes is opening a Classic Center in Irvine, of all places. Why not Beverly Hills? Or Santa Monica. Irvine? Sure, it's close to wealthy enclaves like Newport Beach, but it's one of the blah-er parts of Orange County. Nevertheless, open next month it will, so in light of that, we'll take a six-wheeled staff car, a la Hogan's Heroes. In hot pink, please.
