Mazda's recalling 2001 and 2002 Miatas due to a cold-start emissions problem that could put the cars above federally-mandated smog standards. About 32,000 vehicles in the US are affected by the recall, the fix for which requires a new CPU program that should lower non-methane organic gas emissions by 26%.
