Lotus will bring its Exige coupe to the US this fall, at a price in the low to mid $50,000 range. Those stateside won't be getting the supercharged, 243hp 240-R model the company sells in the UK — the US-spec coupe will have an identical powertrain to that of the Elise — but the Exige will still eat sharp corners whole, with more than 90lbs of downforce at 100mph, nearly nine times that of its ragtopped sister.
