Automobile magazine writer, Ezra Dyer and a photog buddy road-trip a Lotus Elise 1,700 miles from London (that's Texas) to Rome (Georgia). On the way, they tangle with wise-cracking locals, humorless law enforcement officials and exotic locales better suited to Ford F-150s than English cars the size of a settee. There's more strenuous proving ground on earth on which to test the US-ability of the Elise.
