Heather Locklear's favorite airport or at least until her show was axed LAX has taken delivery of five of Daimler- Chrysler's F-Cell vehicles, which will be used by employees for various runabout tasks. Local network affiliat NBC 4 reports that Dave Waldner, Los Angeles World Airports' alternative-fuels vehicle fleet manager, commented thusly: "Hydrogen fuel-cell power on the next clean-fuel technology, and we are pleased to be in the forefront of its development." Umm...okay, but still, with a range of 100 miles, they should be good for at least two-and-a-half full runs around the Arrivals loop.
