Honda revealed the tri-door'd version of its Civic this morning, in advance of its unveiling at the British motor show next month. They're calling it the Type S (super, thanks for asking) and it'll have a slightly wider rear track than its five-door sibling. Under the hood will be either a 1.8 i-VTEC petrol four or a 2.2 i-CTDi diesel, both with around 138 horsepower. It'll also form the basis for the new Type R performance model, destined for the Paris show.
