AutoWeek reports from Bern, Switzerland (we spent a week there one night), where the new Chevrolet Epica became the first GM model designed and built in its entirety by GM-Daewoo Auto & Technology's design team of Korea. AW says the styling will inform lots of new GM-Daewoo products for the US — including the next Aveo and the Captiva SUV — though the Epica won't make it over as is. It's all part of Chevrolet's push to grow its market share in Europe, where it's an economy brand, and continue to grow sales. (Its growth on the continent was 8.9% in the first quarter of 2006).
