The bosses at the Beeb have apparently relented to Richard Hammond's squeaky verbal attack on the mother station for even thinking of not letting the Top Gear boys show the video of his high-speed hamster-trap. According to the BBC, they'll be creating a special program around the preparations for the crash and what "went wrong and perhaps learned lessons." Sounds to us like maybe it'll be a what not to do for the Health & Safety folks. The special will be confirmed only after Hammond is finished recuperating — which we're told is expected to be six months. So expect this "hoon of the day" hitting YouTube around April 6th, 2007.
