    Interestingly, a gallon of gas, in real dollars, is now less expensive than a pack of smokes. In the 1940s, both were around 20 cents a gallon. Now cigarettes generally range from $4-5 a pack in most states, while gas, despite its recent spike, is still, on average a buck cheaper. The solution? Quit smoking and start huffing gas. Or keep smoking and walk or ride your bike. But please, please don't smoke while huffing gas.
