Of course, we all saw it coming, and while the four-car Hendrick Motorsports team is in right at the cap, Jack Roush is gonna have to ditch a driver by the 2009 season, as Brian France has dropped the news that NEXTEL Cup teams from now on will have to be on the shy side of five cars. While the smaller teams are in favor of the restriction, Roush has gone on record calling the rule "communist." Needless to say, Cactus Jack isn't too happy about the ruling. Roush Racing prez Geoff Smith was quoted as saying, "It is hard for Jack not to believe that there is a laser bulls-eye on his forehead." All we can say is, Mr. Roush, you might wanna consider trading your omipresent hat in on an army helmet.
