A fire at 'Yota's plant in Kariya City one of two that builds the hybrid with the hotcakes-esque sales figures downed the plant for a projected week. With the Japanese automaker already unable to fill timely orders for the Prius, the wait's just gonna get longer. On a related eco-note, given that the fire occurred in the paint shop area, we wonder how many toxins were released into the atmosphere during the blaze's rampage?
